Chocolate Crinkles

Another cookie from my husband's family recipe vault. These chocolate crinkles are my favorite. They are sweet and chocolaty, with a slight crisp on the outside and a nice softness on the inside. It's like having your own little chocolate cake sprinkled with powdered sugar. Divine, I tell you.

Chocolate Crinkles

3/4 C. vegetable oil
3/4 C. cocoa powder
2 C. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 C. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp.salt
Powdered sugar, for rolling

Preheat oven to 350.

Mix oil, cocoa and sugar until incorporated and then blend eggs in one at a time.  Add vanilla, baking powder, flour and salt. Mix well. Chill dough for about 2 hours and then shape dough into small balls and then roll in powdered sugar. Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes.
